Hello and Goodbye:

Welcome to Liza Burkin, Bike Newport’s new Program Manager! Liza comes to us by way of Edible Rhody Magazine and Newport Pedicab – with a “heartfelt desire to promote sustainability and bicycle advocacy.”  Hitting the road with no hesitation, Liza is already busy with numerous projects - from our Night Bright safety equipment distribution, to building relationships with businesses, growing membership, and scheduling educational programs. We could not be happier to have Liza on board!

With that heart-tugging combination of happiness and the blues – we say goodbye to our financial phenom, trusted Treasurer, cyclist supreme, and dear friend Brian Hennessey, former CFO of People’s Credit Union. Brian - we wish you the very best in your new adventure in San Jose. Thank you for your generosity of time, spirit and passion. We benefitted greatly from your expertise. We’ll miss you!
