If you missed the panel in Ellicott City on July 9, you have another opportunity to find out why you should be concerned about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). This nightmarish free-trade agreement being negotiated in secret would override environmental, health and safety laws and encourage/exacerbate fracking. Check out our web page about this issue. Compressor station: Myersville Citizens for a Rural Community (MCRC) is raising money to appeal FERC approval for a compressor station in their town for fracked natural gas. The appeal was filed on July 15. To contribute to the legal fund, see www.mcrcmd.org/ Like MCRC on Facebook
