EBAN is organising the first European week dedicated to angel investing. Our overall goals for the week are to:
- Increase the number of angel investors
- Skyrocket the €5b angel market to new investment records
- Bring investors and entrepreneurs together
- Invite different organisations to working closer with angel investors

We are inviting EBAN members and other organisations to set up debating sessions together with EBAN during the week of 18th-24th November to debate these goals and increase angel investment awareness across Europe and in different sectors. EBAN increases its reach to 35 countries worldwide

With a new member in Malaysia, EBAN is now represented through its network in 35 countries, 30 of each in Europe. EBAN's international reach is lead by it's willingness to support our members' countries obtaining more information about early stage investment and to directly support them in influencing their national and regional authorities in the adoption of investment friendly public policies. Moreover, EBAN is committed to stimulate networking and knowledge sharing between experienced investors and practitioners with new comers in this passionate but complex subject sector.

This month we welcome the new Associate member EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

EUMMCI, Malaysia (Gold Associated)
The EUMMCI is the largest bilateral Chamber in Malaysia with a membership reach of approximately 1.200 corporations (Corporate & Bilateral members). The Corporate & Bilateral members benefit from the EU network in the following areas:
- Mapping government policies and strategies, contributing to free trade negotiations and dialogues between Malaysia and the European Commission
- Publication of relevant and insightful business publications
- Providing support to international corporate and bilateral members for EU Project Desks 
- Linking both EU and Malaysia public and private sector to enhance engagement at all levels

EBAN is cooperating with EUMMCI in the international project "Enhancing Cooperation in Facilitating SME’s Access to Finance for Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP)". The collaboration aims at sharing EBAN's expertise with Malaysian SMEs. A first training session in Kuala Lumpur with EBAN coaches is currently being scheduled to October 4th-7th. After collecting a series of useful videos targeted to angel investors and available on videos.gust.com, Gust now creates the Youtube channel StartupFundingEDU to provide advice on "how to run your company and get your business funded" from the world's best angel investors and venture capitalists.

StartUp Leaders: Launch Call to Action to Boost Internet-Driven Economic Growth Across Europe
A group of Europe’s most successful internet entrepreneurs today launched a manifesto to harness the growth of the tech sector and increase the number of successful start ups across Europe. The 22 point plan has been produced by The Startup Europe Leaders Club – an independent group of founders in the fields of tech entrepreneurship – which was tasked by Vice-President of the European Commission Neelie Kroes, To sign the manifesto and learn more about this initiative follow the link.
