Fratello's
Greetings!

Doesn't sometimes the world seems like a crazy place? Now this is true on many levels, at least to me, but just last week I write to you all bemoaning the hot and humid temps, yet this week it seems like "hello fall"! Crazy, non? But like with everything, alas, life goes on, and this obviously includes all of us at Fratello's. Take this very weekend, when regardless of what Mother Nature decides to throw at us, we will be preparing some tasty special dinners for you to enjoy. Like Certified Angus Beef Top Sirloin, Hawaiian Blue Marlin, and Alaskan Sockeye Salmon, which we all know is so good for us. And of course all your favorite Fratello delights that you know so well. We hope you consider joining us.

As you probably know, I am a fan of the grape, and we strive to provide you with an assortment of wines to enjoy by the bottle or by the glass. We continue to roll on our special board with the excellent Cabernet from Joel Gott, a new delivery of the equally excellent Pinot Noir from Expressions 44 from Oregon, as well as the Locations "I" from Italy via Dave Phinney, a red blend from the Puglia region of Italy. There remains some of the Sangiovese Morrelino from Italy, and waiting in the wings is a very good and very food friendly Barbera, also from Italy. I have also shared with you that we have added some tasty wines from Australia from Mollydooker, including the Boxer, Blue Eyed Boy, and Two Left Feet, which are all Shiraz or Shiraz blends, and the Maitre' D, a Cabernet, which I just happened to have with dinner. All are very fruit forward and friendly, with muted tannins and medium to full body. Good with food or just by themselves, and all are on our wine list. Just a thought.

As summer seems to be drawing to a close, unfortunately, we do look forward to the fall, which we view as an excellent season to enjoy Italian food (along with Winter, Spring and Summer). We hope to see you soon, and we are grateful for your support.

Ciao
