Saturday, October 12th — Metro-wide bike donation event.
On this day, between 9AM and 2PM you will be able to drop a bike off at 50 locations around the metro area. Every Allina Health Hospital and clinic, Aspen and Quello Clinics. Watch our site for locations and directions.

October 14th – December 8th – Our bike refurbishing sites will be open.
Huge warehouses turned into bike cleaning and repair stations. This is where you come in. We NEED you. We need several thousand volunteers to help us clean and repair the bikes. Whatever your skill level is, we can use you. Go to

December 8th — 5000 bikes will be given away this day.
It’s a birthday and Christmas on steroids for 5000 kids. We will need hundreds of volunteers on this day to help us give away the bikes.

A family living in a mobile home community was struggling to put food on the table. The kids, recognizing the problem went to their parents and said they wanted to sell their bikes to make some money for food. They did this. When FB4K found out about this we were able to replace each of those bikes—with better ones!
DID YOU KNOW?
FB4K, by refurbishing used bikes and putting them back on the road, recycles the equivalent of a Boeing 737, each year! Green, very green! FB4K partners with 150 non-profits to help select the kids to receive bikes.

HOW DO I GET A BIKE FOR MY CHILD OR MYSELF?
Virtually all of our bikes are given away through a network of non-profits, community organizations, churches, and schools. We already work with about 150 of these organizations. The best way to get a bike is to contact one of these types of organizations in your neighborhood and ask if they are connected with FB4K. If not, ask them to consider getting involved with FB4K.
