From: I grew up in India.
Live: In beautiful Vancouver.
Work: I run a social enterprise in the poorest postal code in Canada serving marginalized people.
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: Life and all its wonders.
Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
A: It was exhilarating and liberating. In the beginning I was jumping ... somewhat, but I towards the end I was leaping through the air fearlessly and free!
Q: What inspires you in life?
A: Excellence, realizing of potential in myself and others
Q: Your greatest passion?
A: Thirst for knowledge. Acknowledgment, awareness and knowledge are at the foundation of all achievement.
Q: Your driving force?
A: Greed .... for life. Wanting to squeeze every drop of living out of life.
Q: Your philosophy?
A: In every situation do your best, then do some more
Q: Anything in the world?
A: I have achieved all the things I wanted to do so far. I am sure the new idea, the new goal, the new dream is just around the corner.
Q: What are you working on?
A: I am turning around an excellent non-profit organization - tradeworks.bc.ca
Q: Mini bio, interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: First generation immigrant, professional engineer, YWCA Woman of Distinction Nominee, Harvard Business School scholarship recipient, learned English by watching John Wayne movies with closed captions. I believe three things passionately - if you are not living on the edge you are using up too much space, stereotype is never the person, and that human potential is a terrible thing to waste.
