Dear Moms and Dads
Hope you are all keeping well. We are having loads of fun here at school finishing off our Auction items and they are just BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
We will be displaying the items around the school from Monday 9th September so that you can see what you will be bidding for. On Friday they will then be taken to the Fish Hoek Sailing Club to be displayed for the evening function. Light snacks will be provided on the night and there will be a cash bar available that will be managed by the Sailing Club.
We hope to see as many as possible support this most delightful evening. Tickets are on sale in the office.

GRANDPARENTS DAY
9.30am for 10am Fri 6th Sept
We would like to invite all our special Grand Parents to come and visit us at school for a sing song and some tea and cake. The children will sing a few songs for the grandparents at 10am in the back garden which will be followed by tea and cake.
We would like to ask if the moms could please provide a plate of eats for the Grandparents on the day. All eats can be taken to the kitchen . If there are any moms who could help serve tea and set up on the day please chat to your child’s teacher. Your class rep will be in touch soon for any other items that may be required.
Please note that if your child’s grandparents are not able to attend then it would be lovely if you could arrange a special friend to attend.

Starfish
We are learning about birds this week. Please remember our outing on Thursday to Cape Point Ostrich Farm. We still need lifts and many parents still need to sign the outing form which allows your child to go with us. We are discussing more/less this week as our maths concept. Please play games involving this concept at home with your child. Well done to all my talented, special Starfish children who displayed their talent last week You were fantastic!

Angelfish
Hi everybody.
Our theme for this week is birds.
The Angelfish children are working very hard at completing the art auction items!
Aileen (Gideon’s mom) who is a dietician came to speak to the children about healthy eating. She was very kind to give each parent a print out on lunch box tips. Please check your message pockets for your copy. Thank you Aileen. Don’t forget our outing on Thursday!
Have a great week!

Penguins
Good day all. We will continue our ‘under the sea’ theme this week as there is still so much to learn about.
We will be going on an exciting outing to ‘soil for life’ in Constantia on Wed 11th Sept. The children will be given a tour of the garden and shown how they recycle in the garden and they can have their snack in the garden too.
Lifts needed please, and also please sign the outing form to allow your child to go!
Have a lovely week.
