Connecting With Our Local Community

In Matthew 22 Jesus is asked, 'which is the greatest commandment?'

Jesus replies the first is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. The second is to love your neighbour as yourself.

The ultimate way we love our neighbor as we love ourselves is to share Christ with them, in order to rescue them from God’s wrath and enable them to experience the joy and peace of forgiveness in this life and the life to come.

Sadly many people in Rouse Hill don't have faith in Jesus and some don't even know who He is!

As we seek to love those in our local community, we have organised some events to invite family and friends to; so they may hear the saving message of Jesus Christ.

Wednesday - 4th Sept
7:30pm - 8:30pm
Prayer Meeting
at Church

"Prayer is the engine room of the church" - Charles Spurgeon

With so much 'going on' in the world, our country and our church; sometimes we forget to pray.

God's Word reminds us to devote ourselves to pray (Col 4:2).

Therefore next Wednesday night we are gathering together as a church to pray for world, our nation and the upcoming community connection events at our church.
Sunday - Sept 8th
150th Aniversery of Christ Church
Rouse Hill

10am 'Celebration
           Service'
Noon  'Family Fun Fair'
1pm    '1863 style
            Church Service'

Over the past 150 years, the gospel hasn't changed. However over the past 150 years, the gospel has been changing people's lives.

Come celebrate the past 150 years, stay for the family fun fair and even experience an 1863 style Church Service.

Sunday - Sept 8th,15th
5pm - Cafe Church

Many people in our local community are unfamiliar and uncomfortable with church. Cafe Church is church but in a relaxed environment. There will be good food, great music and the gospel will be clearly preached.

This is a great opportunity for our friends and family to hear the saving message of Jesus Christ in a relaxed setting.
