Fall Story Times
The Children's Department is excited to get started registering children for fall story times this week! Registration begins Wednesday, September 4 and the fall session runs from September 16 through November 21. Be sure to call early to reserve your place!

CLEVNET Scarf Visiting OPL
September 9-23

Between September 9-23, stop by and see A Common Thread, the traveling CLEVNET scarf composed of hand-designed squares from members of CLEVNET libraries.

Dog Day
Thursday, September 19, 4:00-6:00 pm
This special time is just for dog lovers! Children of all ages are invited to meet and greet our therapy dog friends. Children may make a card for the dogs, enjoy a snack and become pretend pups with a magical headband. Bring a stuffed dog along for the Fluffy Puppy dog show. (Please, no live dogs). No registration is needed for this free program.

Cookbook Club Returns
Thursday, September 19, 6:00 pm
Our popular Cookbook Club returns! We will prepare recipes from The Pioneer Woman Cooks, Food From My Frontier by Ree Drummond. You may click here to place a hold, or you're welcome to call or stop by the library to have your reserve placed. The night of the club meeting, bring a sampling of a recipe from the book to share. The library will provide plates and silverware. Please register at the Information Desk or by calling 330-683-1065. And be sure to mark your calendar for the November 7 meeting on holiday cooking!

Reception to Welcome New Director
Tuesday, October 1, 4:00-6:00 pm
All are invited to an open house reception at the library for a meet and greet and to welcome new director, Daphne Silchuk-Ashcraft. Come at your convenience between 4:00 and 6:00.

Did You Know?
Every month, a poster is displayed in the DVD section with that month's new hit releases. You can simply pick up a slip, circle the ones you want, write down your card number, and we will gladly put them on hold for you. There is also a binder with monthly new releases from the last five years behind the Reference Desk, which you may ask to see at any time.
