The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Block Grant Assistance is pleased to announce that there will be 25 New CDBG IDIS trainings offered at HUD Field Offices in every Region between October, 2013 through June, 2014. Training for HOME IDIS will also be forthcoming and will require separate registration.

Registration is now open for the IDIS for CDBG Grantees training, which will be offered from Tuesday, October 22, 2013 – Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 8:30am-4:30pm at the HUD Field Office in Chicago, IL.

The two-day CDBG IDIS training is designed for CDBG Entitlement grantee staff (with the exception of the Atlanta session which is for State grantees) and provides information on the 11.5.1 release of IDIS, including the new Section 108 functionality. It will also provide hands-on training on entering data into IDIS, using IDIS reports to effectively manage and administer CDBG, and avoiding common mistakes.

Please note that submitting a registration request does not guarantee you a seat at the training. You will receive a confirmation email if you are accepted into the training.

Registering for the IDIS Training

Select the training page link and then select Register Now on the right side of the page.
If you have not yet registered for an OneCPD Learn account:

1. Select Create an Account
2. Enter your information on Steps 1 and 2 of the registration page.
3. Select Register
4. You will be brought directly to the course detail page in OneCPD Learn and an email containing your username will be sent to you. Keep this for future use.
5. Select the checkbox next to the class name and location and then select Submit Request

If you have already registered for an OneCPD Learn account:

1. Enter your Username and Password; select Enter
2. If prompted to fill out additional information, please do so, and select Update
3. You will be brought directly to the course detail page in OneCPD Learn
4. Select the checkbox next to the class name and location and then select Submit Request

If you are unsure if you have an OneCPD Learn account:

1. Go to the OneCPD Login page, and enter your email address into the field: Forget Username or Password?
2. If a username for that email address already exists, you will receive an email with a temporary password that you can use to follow the steps above. If not, you’ll receive an error message
