TWAK: This Week At King's. September 22nd-September 28th, 2013.

THIS WEEK AT KING'S
September 22nd-28th, 2013

In the footsteps of Air Supply and CCR (the band, not the Co-Curricular Record ya nuts!), the KSU has decided to deviate from the normal path yet again and release a five disc music box set entitled “Songs of the GM” this Thursday. The release coincides with the KSU’s Fall General Meeting, coincidentally held this Thursday in the Red Room at 7PM. The box set is available for this one night only, so be sure to come to the GM in order to secure yourself copy.  With such hits as “I’ll Make a Personal Point of Privilege Out of You”, “The Campus Safety Dance” and “If I Had a Gavel” ft. Jake Eidinger, how could you afford to miss it? Word on the Street (good work being topical Haydn) has it, we’ll also be talking about the budget, committees and special resolutions. Oh yeah, and there will also be a candy kebab bar too. While I am no consoler of the lonely, it’s fair to say that with the union’s foray into the world of compilation disc box sets, there’s many shades to the KSU.

H

p.s. Word has it, the KSU will be releasing a viral video promoting “Songs of the GM” on Monday. Yeah, we’re pretentious; we’re calling it viral already.

p.s. Alright, I take viral back. However, fingers crossed it goes King’s viral. (Merriam-Webster defines King’s viral as - kings vi·ral \ˈkiŋs \vī-rəl\ 1: a video viewed by one-quarter of the school’s population or two hundred and fifty times)

WEATHER

Nouvelle-Écosse, your weather baffles me. One week it’s sunny and mid-20s, the rest of the year, it’s raining.

TUESDAY – Isolated showers // High 12, Low 8

WEDNESDAY – Cloudy with showers // High 13, Low 10

THURSDAY – Variable cloudiness // High 15, Low 10

THE KMC GENERAL MEETING AND OPEN MIC
The Wardroom, 8:30PM (GM)/9:30PM (OPEN MIC)
