But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:33-34

Dear <<First Name>>,

This is it!  Today we leave for Kwidzyn after a three month whirlwind of activity.  We are leaning on God's strength as these days have been long and tough.  All 5 of the kids are sick with a nasty cough, we've been running non-stop to try to finish up loose ends here and yet many still remain.  We are grateful for the grace of God during this time and the grace of those around us as they've continued to help and encourage us.

Last night at dinner and bedtime we shared about what we are most excited about....Here were some of the responses....

"Getting on the airplane and going to sleep on the airplane"

"Getting to spend time with David and Deana on the way down to Phoenix"

"When I get on the airplane"

"Getting to see how God will work through all the details of the day"

As you can see, we're a little shortsighted at the moment...stress and fatigue will do that!  :)  We are honestly thrilled that God is allowing us this opportunity and we are praying for eternal fruit to come of this journey we're on....
Please continue to pray for....
  • Our preparations...last minute stuff at home and preparation of our hearts for ministry in Kwidzyn
  • Health to return to the sick kids
  • Strength and good sleep for all
  • Safety in travel...and that God's Light would truly shine through us to all we meet along the way
  • Those in Poland we are blessed to be ministering to and for!

Thoughts I've had whilst cleaning and organizing….

If dust bunnies procreate, then the bunnies in our home are living to see their great grandchildren…

If municipalities hadn't begun recycling programs, we'd have paper everywhere…rivers and streams and lakes of paper spilling over into the rest of life.

If I was going to throw it away anyway, why did I keep it this long to begin with?

As always....more information is available at www.boonesnews.com
This past week, as we've been preparing to leave, one of the tasks on the list is "clean out freezers."  We have our inside freezer and outside we have a chest freezer.  We've been "freezer fasting" for the past couple of months, with the intent of emptying it, but we reached the point where clearly we would need some help (even 7 people can only eat so much!).  God laid it on my heart to call a friend of ours here in Flagstaff and ask if she'd like some frozen fruit, meat, etc.  When she came to pick it up, we packed both small coolers she'd brought along and she mentioned that this was a big boost to her financial situation.  She said that she had just been talking with God about money and food and then I called!  What a mutual blessing for both of us as sisters in Christ!

Gifts continue to come in.  We are praising God that we are now at 96%!  We continue to trust Him, knowing that He will provide all that we need (not what we think we need, but what HE KNOWS we need.) Thank you for being a part of this provision!
Our address in Poland…(in case you want to surprise our sweet Paisley with a birthday card.  She'll be 14 on the 28th -- just 2 days after we arrive in Poland.)
