Used Book Sale This Weekend

Saturday, October 5, 10:00-2:00
The annual fall book sale, sponsored by Friends of the Library, will take place this weekend, October 4 and 5. Paperback fiction books are 25 cents each or five for $1. Paperback nonfiction, hardback books, movies and audiobooks are 50 cents. The library often receives nice, sometimes new, donations for the sale, so be sure to stop by early to find the best bargains!

Spanish English Story Time
Thursday, October 10, 6:30-7:30
This special event will feature stories in both English and Spanish with stations of special activities. This event is geared toward children ages 4-6 with a caregiver, but all ages are welcome. Each family will receive a book to keep.

Wiggles and Rhymes
Fridays, October 11, 18, 25, 11:00-11:30
Wiggles and Rhymes is a 3-session special story time filled with motion, rhythm, stories and songs to help children ages 3-5 get the wiggles out! Please call the Children's Department at 330-683-1065 to register for this free program.

Community Helpers Story Time
Thursday, October 17, 6:30-7:30
This special program lets kids explore different careers. Each of four stations will feature a local community helper. Children will be able to talk one-on-one with each professional and receive a free book at each station. This program is for children ages 6-8 and a caregiver.
