Sometimes frustration and worry seem to creep in despite our best efforts to keep them at bay. The fundraising campaign was a success; construction finally beginning. Everything was falling into place and the icing on the cake: our last major area of concern, our housing, was figured out. At least we thought it was figured out.
We found a little place we LOVED. It had almost everything three missionaries and a dog could ask for: affordable and safe being it's best qualities. The rental contract was signed; the i's dotted and the t's crossed. We went home excited and relieved, as high fives and happy dances ensued. We even blogged about it - so great was our joy in finally finding a home.
About a week later we received the news that the property owner refused to sign the contract. The deposit was returned and our momentary relief was snatched away.
We know that God will provide. He has proven this time and time again. The place God has for us is out there. Please join us as we pray for our housing situation and against frustration and worry.
