MN's own Jessica Lange to Gov. Dayton: Suspend the wolf hunt!
View this email in your browser

Minnesota wolves got a big hand today as one of our most prominent native daughters urged Governor Dayton to suspend the wolf hunt.  Two-time Academy Award winning actress Jessica Lange wrote a strongly worded letter to Minnesota leadership citing a number of reasons why the 2013 hunt should be suspended immediately. Ms. Lange is a resident of the Clouquet area and is currently starring in the hit miniseries, “American Horror Story: Coven".

She writes:
“As you again ask Minnesotans for the opportunity to lead our state, I ask that you show leadership on this issue by suspending the 2013 wolf hunt and direct all concerned state government bodies and agencies to get back to their stated goals of ensuring the long-term survival of the wolf in Minnesota, and reducing conflicts between wolves and humans.”

Ms. Lange has written Governor Dayton, will you? We have a goal of fifty thousand Minnesota signatures to demonstrate for MN leaders that their constituents want the wolf hunt stopped. If you and every recipient of this email secures at least 2 Minnesota signatures, we will easily achieve our goal. Every signer from everywhere counts, but we especially need Minnesotans! Sign and use our letter signature kit to collect more.

With only 6 weeks until the hunt is scheduled to start, your action is needed now. Please help get signatures, and if you are able to assist financially, your donation is urgently needed to continue our campaign to suspend the hunt.

Let's turn up our volume!

Keep howling,

Howling for Wolves
