Marty's Message

One of the best parts of being the dean is the opportunity to get to know so many outstanding alumni. Some alumni lead large businesses or organizations, others have risen to the top of their professions and many have made major contributions to society. It amazes me just how accomplished many of our graduates are.

In all cases, it is easy to see why they have become successful. They are curious, self-confident, personable, persistent and incredibly hard working. I have also found our most successful alumni are also our most willing to give back.

Be sure to read the Monday Message story about 1986 alum Kirk Booher to see how he gave back during a recent visit to UWSP and how his story inspired our students.
Marty Loy,
CPS Dean
