My sincere thanks to the Petley Jones Gallery for hosting this event and for their generous support. I have enjoyed working with the David Suzuki Foundation and the Vancouver Aquarium, with high hopes for the future thanks to their efforts. It's even more apparent now that art can fulfill a critical need in communication, beyond words and science. And finally thank you to Hemlock printers for showing such incredible support by sponsoring the carbon neutral prints.

"There's more to nature than we can express through words, policy or scientific research. That's why the environmental movement needs artists like Amelia Alcock-White, who is the force behind the Painting for Change event."
