Dear Moms and Dads
This is the last week of the 3rd term. Please make sure that you check the lost property box as all unclaimed items will be handed to a charity on Friday afternoon.
We would like to thank all our wonderful parents for all their support and generous donations this term and we wish you all a happy holiday and safe journey if you are going away.
The Stay and Play staff will be here at school to look after all the holiday care children and have some fun activities planned for them. Please read the Stay and Play notice board or chat to Ingrid about what’s on in the holidays.
Please note that Tuesday 24th Sept is a Public Holiday and therefore there will be no Stay and Play/holiday care on that day!
At the end of this week-Friday 20th Sept we will be having a ‘Talent Show’ for the children to participate in. We have had 2 shows already this term, but decided that the children loved them so much we would do one more on the last day of school. Please encourage your child to take part. And chat to them about what they could show us.
The children are welcome to dress up as they wish on Friday.
Please note that school closes at 10.30am on Friday, but Stay and Play will continue as usual until 6pm.
We look forward to seeing you all back at school on Tuesday 1st October.

ART AUCTION
Wow!!! What a super evening we all had on Friday. A huge thank you to Chantal and her team of Class reps for their part in the organisation and set up of the evening, to Allan Mariott for his delightful entertainment and the teachers and children for their awesome art work. We managed to raise R27.135.00 on the night. How wonderful!!
Please note we still need to add on the money raised from the sale of the children’s individual art works. Their art pictures are up in their classrooms and will be available to purchase until Thursday 19th September. Please continue to support us here and purchase your children’s wonderful art work. Only R25 per picture.

CHRISTMAS BOXES FOR RAINBOW EDUCARE
Once again we will be packing Christmas boxes for the children and staff of Rainbow educare. Names and ages of the children will be displayed next term as well as the names of the staff and we ask parents to choose one or two names and to fill a shoe box with relevant goodies. (Stationary, a toy, toiletries, a book, sweets and soft toy etc.)
Father Christmas will hand out the boxes at Rainbow Educare during the second last week of November. Any parents willing to help on that day are most welcome.
