• SCHEDULING.   If you'd like to sign up for vocal or instrumental lessons, please do so soon.  After school slots are especially filling up.  If you haven't already, please email me all available days and hours you would be able to have your lesson.

• REFERRAL REWARDS!   I am very grateful to those of you who have referred me to your friends.  I'd like to say thanks by offering you a free 1 hour lesson OR a recording session at my home studio when your friend completes their 4th lesson!  Recording is a great way to gain experience and it's especially exciting if you write original material, need audition recordings, or even for fun memories.  The more you refer, the more you can earn!  If I travel to your home, and you know of any students in your neighborhood who might be interested, I'd be especially grateful since I could do back to back lessons and cut down on travel time.  =)  Ask me for postcards or flyers if needed.  You can also click SHARE on Facebook or by email at the bottom of this page!

• FREE MASTERCLASSES AND WORKSHOPS.   I'm looking to give back to the community and build my studio, so I'll be teaching some free classes in NYC schools in the near future.  Let me know if your school's music/choral teacher might be interested in having me.  Teachers usually love it because it reinforces what they teach!  Classes can be tailored to students' needs with topics such as Audition Techniques and Coaching, Vocal Techniques, Songwriting, FUN Music Reading and Creativity for Ages 3 and up, etc.  If interested, ask me for a flyer to give to your teacher.

• WINTER RECITAL.  A Winter Studio Recital will be held in December or January!  Other performance opportunities may also pop up for vocal students, to sing with a live band at NYC Music Venues, during Shelly Wade or Dime Store Romeo Shows!!!  See the www.shellywade.com show schedule.  Details coming soon...

• SONGWRITING OPPORTUNITIES.   I'd like to give all my students the opportunity to co-write a song with me for SONGS OF LOVE. Songs of Love is a NY-based organization, hiring songwriters to write songs for young children with health issues such as cancer and other diseases.   I have been writing for them for a couple years.  You can hear some of the songs at https://soundcloud.com/shellywademusic/sets/songs-of-love.  'My Five Horses' was co-written by my Vocal and Songwriting student, Abby Geissler.  Please let me know if you are interested.

• PAYMENT.  I am now accepting monthly payments, which would be due at the first of the month.  It is not required, but only for your convenience.  If you'd like to pay weekly, I ask that you pay one week ahead, if possible.
