An interview with Anil Joshi

Talk with passion – Walk with belief

‘King’s Castle will be successful when we as a group have understood the power of using each other’s strengths to help each other’, says Anil Joshi, facilitator at King’s Castle on the 3rd of October. ‘I believe in the power of groups. People inspire me.’
Monique Jonker interviewed this passionate speaker, trainer, consultant and coach.

This is a short version of the interview with Anil Joshi. The full article can be read on the VWI-website

Cultures - Inspirational

Anil was born in China, has lived in Asia, Africa, South America, The Caribbean, USA and resides in The Netherlands since1988. Anil: ‘Adapting to a changing environment is hardwired in my DNA. I experienced that adapting is necessary to create an existence, to have impact and to have fun. Cultures are irrelevant to me. Differences between cultures are exciting and inspire new ideas.’ Possibly it is this attitude that makes Anil easy to connect with.

Commitment - Full intensity

People say that he has the ability to induce others to be open to change, and also that he does this in a pleasant way. Because of his own drive for a change, he started his company ITIDA International in 2001. Anil: ‘I had two goals: develop a business permitting me to work with as many people as possible and to be able to work anywhere on our planet. Today, 12 years later, I give trainings and lectures in twenty-six different countries.'

Experience - Always in progress

Anil completed his M.B.A. in marketing at an agricultural university in India. After completing his studies, he went into Sales, selling computers. To get started in the Netherlands, he did not hesitate taking several steps back and worked in selling by telephone. ‘It challenged me to learn the Dutch language well and quickly, because in sales, results count, no excuses’. He has worked at Philips and other multinationals as well as Small Medium Enterprises. He says: ‘Marketing is about positioning and share of mind. Be clear about what you want people to remember about you.’

From talk to walk

Whether you follow his Master class Emotional Selling or his Deep Transformation approach, you can expect action and intensity. Anil: ‘From talk to walk is my motto. That can be scary sometimes. I know what fear is, but I’m not afraid to try things. Try new things on the 3rd of October, at King’s Castle. I look forward to meeting you.'
