Two Gallinas Creek Events Scheduled

Morning 9 AM

Join City of San Rafael and volunteers from Autodesk to clean up the Gallinas Creek area. MEET 9:00AM at Embassy Suites side of the Autodesk parking lot at 111 McInnis Parkway. Please bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen. All other supplies will be provided.

GWC member Kate Powers will meet at this staging area and lead a group to the SMART area for additional cleanup. 

Afternoon 12:45 PM

Join GWC at McInnis Park boat dock for our annual in-the-creek clean up. Bring your kayak or canoe as we ride the rising tide to get at trash stuck deep in the weeds. Take Smith Ranch Road. As you enter the Park, the second road to the right leads to the dock and picnic area.

You will need:
boat, kayak or canoe (creek bank walkers need boots)
water bottle, snack
long sleeve shirt or sunscreen
hat
We supply:
Trash bags
Gloves
Other equipment, such as grabbers
