My Featured Artist Reception at  the
Charleston Artist Guild Gallery
in May was wonderful!

Thank you all that came out.
I hope you enjoyed the evening, the little bites and wine and oh, yes... the art!

And a special thank you to my new collectors of
Rosie Phillips Fine Art.

Spoleto
Sundown Poetry Series
Reception

for Edward Gold, Poet

was held at Studio 151 Fine Art Gallery
after his reading at
the Dock Street Theatre.
As you can see, the reception was quite a success!

So, what else has Rosie been doing...

This summer, my daughter, grand daughters and friends spent 10 days here with us. We did a lot of playing but  a bit of community work including spending a day at art camp!

PATTISON'S SUMMER CAMP ART DAYS

Every year volunteers from CAG help the children of Pattison's Academy Summer Camp create works of art.  It is really rewarding for everyone involved.  We paint on pillow covers and canvases and they proudly present their artwork to their family. These works are truly treasures.

I have been working in collaboration with my friend and art mentor, James Pratt on his ONLINE PALETTE KNIFE PAINTING ACADEMY! We have been videoing, editing,  painting, writing, learning how to  post the whole thing online. Want to learn how to paint with a palette knife? Check this out! Click on the photo.
Creating art, taking care of home, hubby and puppy, playing with kids and grand kids...
Working days at the two downtown galleries and a couple of volunteering activities...
Going for walks out in the country or the beach...
Boating, fishing, crabbing or kayaking...
Traveling and having visitors here...

There's much to enjoy in this life and we try to as much as possible.
That's why I have always said....

Art is my passion and Life is my Inspiration!

Below are a few photos that I would love to share with you of my family and life.
Nothing better than a rain shower and rainbow
