Welcome to the final term of the year. In the next 3 months we have a number of exciting events including Pink Day, Halloween, Awards night, Christmas party and a Grading Comp. After the last grading of the year we will be doing some cross training with our other martial arts - Hapkido and Kumdo.
Pink day will run for 1 week from 21st - 26th October. Student may purchase a pink belt with all funds raised going towards the Cancer Council. The pink belt will be the highest ranking belt for the week. Our last competition for the year is another grading comp. The grading comp is a development program for juniors which we annually run in March. A large number of students missed out at the start of the year, so we have decided to host another. However red belts can only do 1 grading comp per year. They can however compete but as a practice grade.
2014 Calendars are currently being designed. We are looking for 3 sponsors for our end of year Awards and Calendars. Please let us know if you can assist.
Looking forward to some fun training in the lead up to Christmas.
Enjoy
Master Michael Tan

Equipment All student must supply their own mouth guard. Other equipment will be supplied.
Unlike traditional gradings, students will be assessed on Olympic sparring, patterns and jump kick. As an added incentive all students will win a medal depending on how they perform. Students are matched up on size and ability. The concept behind this grading is to give everyone a taste of competitions. Students and parent can then make an informed decision about whether they wish to enter more competitions.
Kumdo - Sword Art
Grand Master Jang from Sydney conducted a workshop for our Kumdo students.
More emphasis was placed on sparring as it will now be examined more in gradings.
Master Michael Tan successfully attained 2nd dan.
Kumdo classes are held on Monday & Wednesday evenings for Seniors only.
Black Belt Club
Higher Dan grading are held twice per year in April and October.
