I hope this finds you well! I'm writing to see if you're planning to go to the 'Palestinian Narratives' session of the upcoming Boston Palestine Film Festival featuring, among others, Susan Abulhawa, author of the amazing upcoming poetry book My Voice Sought the Wind. The session is at 3pm on Saturday, Oct. 19th, at the MFA. (If you haven't yet seen the amazing little teaser-video that Susan made, of her reading one of the poems from the book, you really should!)
So I'd like to ask, if you are going to that session, whether you could help us out by taking a box of 20-30 copies of the book over to it, where the fabulous BPFF folks say they'll be able to sell it for us-- and purchasers can have Susan sign it. The good news is that the book is light, weighing in at less than 6 oz!
If you can help us out in this way, please let me know as soon as possible, as we still need to get the books to you! We'll be happy to cover all your associated expenses plus comp you a copy of the book-- which you can also have Susan sign there and then.
I would also like to ask if you'd be interested in helping us organize one or more Boston-area book events/readings for Susan and this wonderful book... sometime in the Spring semester of 2014? Again, do let me know if you're interested.
