Lovely skin at any age
Your skin is amazing: it's a complex organ which reflects your overall health. If you want healthy-looking skin and a glowing complexion, you have to nurture it from the inside out. A very welcome bonus of eating well is the effect on the appearance and condition of your skin. One of my Metabolic Balance clients, Chris, wrote to say, "I must admit I do keep getting compliments on my skin and its all down to you and the eating plan."
Other clients who come with specific skin complaints find that a tailored healthy eating plan provides the nutrients the body needs to promote skin healing. Vicki says, "Within two weeks my eczema had improved immensely. Rita set up a diet plan that was manageable without trying to change everything in my diet. I prefer the food that I am eating now to what I was having before!"
Whatever your age or skin condition, it’s never too late to start to take care of your complexion and achieve the healthy glow you have always wanted. That's why I'm really excited about working with my friend and colleague, Lesley Matthews, at the Gordon Road Clinic to offer a unique"anti-ageing" skin care package.
How it works: you receive a personalised healthy eating plan from me designed to feed your skin from the inside out, while Lesley provides her relaxing natural facelift massage to tone and firm. Our mantra is: nourish, hydrate, protect and lift for naturally healthy skin.
Of course, nutritional therapy and the natural facelift are available as standalone services. Please contact me to discuss your particular requirements and to find out more.

Natural medicine
Nutritional therapy works well alongside conventional medicine as many of you can testify. I am always pleased when GPs refer their patients to me and would be delighted to receive more referrals! My professional association BANT is running a campaign to make more GPs aware of the benefits of healthy eating for their patients. If you would like to help to spread the word, I have some leaflets designed to introduce GPs to nutritional therapy. Please ask if you would like one for your GP.
In August, as part of this promotion, I met with Anna Soubry MP, Under Secretary of State for Public Health, who was very receptive to the message that nutritional therapists have a role to play in promoting good health in a natural an non-invasive way. To find out more, visit my professional body BANT's web site. And thanks to those of you who are flying the flag for nutritional therapy!
