Silverstone podium wraps up 31st season!
 
So, I've made it to the conclusion of my 31st consecutive competitive year - it seems a lifetime since I was 21 and starting racing in 1982 - well technically I suppose it is!
The pace was hot in the Ducati 848 Challenge this season with many lap records broken; we ultimately finished 4th overall - I don't think that's too bad when you consider out of 16 races we had 4 none starts. I lapped faster everywhere than I did in 2012, and had nine front row starts; finished every race I started and was never out of the top six - scoring 7 podium places along the way - 1 win,
4 x 2nd and 2 x 3rd places.

In 31 years I've ridden a diverse mix of bikes, met many different personalities and raced with some 'top doers'  on tracks worldwide - looking back, I've been very lucky.
