My Scary Tale of Making Money in Judgment Recovery
& Lots of Pumpkins!
Written by Jason, JRI Student since May 2013
Halloween has always been a special day at our home. It continues to be one the best holidays for my 4 children and this year ......Ah, this year....
Let's go back to January 2, 2012. I purchased my first judgment recovery course and another course in October of the same year. Almost a year and a half later, still broke! In fact, honestly I had not made even a dollar in this new business of Judgment Recovery.
Upon entering this business journey of mine, I had 2 promises. One to my wife and the other to my kids. My agreement with my wife was simple - If I could not make any money in this business by the end of 2013, I was done! Now, my kids humbly asked if "...we have money....can we have more pumpkins than anyone else on the block .....daddy, I want to have the best house for Halloween..." I can quote this because I actually had to write it down and tape it on my wall along with my 4 year old's drawing of pumpkins, lots of pumpkins. No, they did not ask for the latest electronic gizmo - they wanted the best Halloween ever. So, I wrote down on the same piece of paper "$100 = 1 pumpkin".
2012 was a very scary year in our home, financially we were headed towards more dark, cold and unknown nights. My energy for this business was dying each and every day.
On May 11, 2013; my 14 year old son left a yellow sticky on my laptop, "Check it out Dad. www.jrinstitute.com". I called and talked to an Enrollment Advisor and enrolled the next day. I was excited again! I did not feel so alone. I wrote out a sticky and said "Thanks Son, I enrolled" and stuck this inside the refrigerator (after all, he is 14 and it's the most common stopping place for him in our home right now).
I wasted so much time and money in courses that sucked the blood and life right out of me. I wish I would of found the Judgment Recovery Institute first but I am glad that I did find them before I closed the door for good. This week, I will be taking my kids down to the pumpkin patch. My wife and I can hardly wait. We have played our own "trick or treat" game here and told our kids that we will be picking out 4 pumpkins this year (saying that is 3 more than last year). My now 5 year old is jumping with joy while the other kids are .....a bit quiet.
Now, the real TREAT........ Truth is, their Grandpa will be there with his pick up truck and wearing a T-Shirt (thanks to Kinko's) with my 5 year old's pumpkin drawing silkscreened on the front, showing a large pumpkin sporting the number 48 on it.
Yep! We are picking up 48 PUMPKINS.
Yep!, I have collected and pocketed over $4,800 since enrolling with the Judgment Recovery Institute and I am only getting started now.......
