We are about to head out to Lawrence, Kansas, for the Mother Earth News Fair, October 12-13, 2013. This is the first fair being held in Kansas. We are excited to be a part of it and to meet folks we have talked to via email, telephone, and Facebook over the years. Plans include: sourcing materials, cut list, cut steps, assembly steps, and sealing and finishing. We're working with our designer now, and expect a completion date near the end of October.

Screened Bottom Boards After years of requests, they’re available; Top Bar Hives with a screened bottom option! Our screened bottoms are made from Western Red Cedar and feature 1/8th inch screen and two removable inserts that allow for adjustment of ventilation and easy removal. Screened bottoms are now available as an option when ordering a top bar hive or available separately for $49 with free shipping.
