Day of the Tech Girl - October 11!
Help us get the word out about Day of the Tech Girl! The International Day of the Girl is October 11 and people around the world are celebrating in lots of different ways. If you are into tech, we hope you you'll celebrate Day of the Tech Girl. What does this mean? You can share your story about how you got involved with tech or why you are passionate about getting more girls involved. You can tweet about it (#techgirlday). You can hold an event (we're holding a Women in Tech panel in Charlottesville) and share it with Girl Rising.
Of course, Tech-Girls always wants to hear about what you are doing and creating for and with girls any day of the year.

It's been a year since Tech-Girls first launched with a mission to help empower girls to imagine and achieve their future dreams in our tech-savvy world. It has been an amazing journey and we are so looking forward to another fantastic year! If you'd like to get involved, we need volunteers, mentors and role models. You do not need to be a tech expert to be involved. Come learn with the girls! Please complete this brief form if you are interested in helping out this Fall.
