corporate idealist riffs & resources

Thanks for joining me to discuss how business does - and does not - make the world a better place.

Having just finished my book (more on that in due course), I can return to why I wrote a book in the first place: to engage with others interested in responsible business.

My intent here is to provide resources and insights that are interesting and useful to you, whether you're a practitioner, job-seeker, or interested consumer-citizen.

I’d love to hear from you. Please hit 'reply' at any time with your thoughts and join me on Twitter and Facebook.

Conversations

Can an alcoholic beverage company be socially responsible? I ask in a blog post after hearing a talk by the CEO of Pernod Ricard.

Plus a riff on corporate social responsibility as a career path with purpose.

Questions for you

On October 25th, I'll moderate a panel at the Net Impact Conference on responsible supply chains with speakers from Gap Inc., The Children's Place, and Intel. What would you want to ask them?

On November 7th, I'll participate in a debate at the BSR Conference: "Collaborative Initiatives: Accelerators or Diversions?" As I wrote on the BSR blog recently, my answer to that question is "Yes." What do you think?

I'll write up both events for you afterwards.
