Zughetti Class

Learn how to make a healthy and tasty alternative to wheat spaghetti using zucchini and a spiral vegetable slicer. Students will learn how to make the marinara sauce, a creamy vegan Alfredo sauce and the marinated mushrooms. The Zughetti Class is a prerequisite for the Lasagna Class as the marinara sauce and the marinated mushrooms are used in the lasagna.

Lasagna Class

This will change the way you think a lasagna should be! Layers of zucchini noodles, marinara sauce, herb cheese, spinach and marinated mushrooms. Students will learn how to make the Lasagna and the herb cheese. The Zughetti Class is a prerequisite for the Lasagna Class as the marinara sauce and the marinated mushrooms are used in the lasagna.

Life Drop Class

Life drops are a delicious combination of golden flax, raisins, dates, cashews, coconut oil and cacao powder with a texture reminiscent of a cross between fudge and a brownie. They will definitely satisfy any chocolate craving! Students will make the life drop slab in class and will bring it home to freeze it. You can then use the cookie cutters of your choice to cut out any shape you desire (stainless steel cookie cutters are required, plastic cookie cutters will not be strong enough to cut through the frozen life drop slab).

I’ve been making those since the beginning of my raw cuisine journey, 9 years ago.  I’ve got all sorts of tips and tricks to reduce the amount of time needed to make them.  One of the tricks that I’ll be teaching is a super easy way to sprout buckwheat. Come and learn and you can apply the techniques to other cracker and pizza crust recipes.

Nut and Seed Burger Class

This one is sooooooooo tasty and totally practical.  Make a batch, freeze it or keep it in the fridge.  Burgers will keep up to 1 month in the fridge and 3 months in the freezer, imagine that!  You come home hungry, simply reach for a patty, add condiments, lettuce, cucumbers, sprouts and wrap in a lettuce leaf.   Dinner in 10 minutes!  Not only that, it  will reduce the time needed to prepare a meal for your family; bring all that’s needed on the table and everyone makes their own!

Lemon Blueberry Coulis Cake Class

Oh, we’ve got something heavenly yummy to teach at our next class: the Lemon Blueberry Coulis Cake!  It has a cheesecake texture, while being dairy and wheat free! Learn how to make the creamy filling made with coconut meat, coconut oil and lemon juice on a sweet pecan crust topped with a delicious colorful blueberry coulis.

Condiments Class

Oh, this is a fun class!  You will learn how to make the famous condiments served at Tao, the burst of flavor that accentuates many of our dishes!
Agat will be teaching the Sweet Chili Sauce, Curry Ginger Chutney, Dill Nut Cheese and Marinated Mushrooms … that will spice up, zing up, cheer up any meal!

Coco Orbs Class

These coco orbs are a favourite among people of all ages! They have a very rich texture, reminiscent of fudge, and are very nutritious, so that eating just one can leave you feeling satiated. These healthy treats are sweetened with dates only, which means you can eat a few without feeling guilty! Our Chocolate Coco Orbs will satisfy your chocolate craving without a doubt, or try our Lemon Coco Orbs which have a wonderful fresh and tangy taste.

Sea Pâté and Nori Roll Class

The Nori Roll is one of our most popular menu items at the café! The dulse and kelp in the Sea Pâté brings the taste of the sea and the avocado, carrot, bell pepper, spinach and alfalfa sprouts bring the whole ensemble together wonderfully. Nori Rolls are a perfect appetizer for a party, as well as being a quick and easy option for lunch or dinner.

Crêpe Class

The Crêpes have an exquisite texture with an amazing blend of flavours and are topped with a maple cream that is to live for! They are perfect for breakfast, dessert or any time of the day that you need a sweet pick-me-up. Students will learn how to make the crêpe, crêpe filling and maple cream.

This granola is packed with seeds and dried fruits! It’s perfect for breakfast with your milk of choice, yogourt, or topped with fresh fruit. Add some nuts, cacao beans, and additional dried fruits to make a super-delicious and nutritious trail mix! It’s also a great option to bring with you to satisfy your hunger after any physical activities. Eat some at the top of the trail for an energy boost before heading back down! Students will learn how to make the Granola Clusters and the Granola Bars.
Parvati Roll Class

Sweet, savoury and oh so healthy! Collard leaves stuffed with sprouted sunflower seeds, walnuts and almond pâté, julienned carrots and bell pepper, along with a spicy sweet raisin chutney. Students will learn how to make the Parvati Roll, the Nut Pâté and the Chutney.

Please Cake Class
