We have some exciting news here at Salem Social Village: we have qualified for the Global Giving Gateway Challenge!

So what is this and why is it important?
Global Giving is a charity NGO that helps other small NGOs (like us) with raising funds for projects. If you would like to find out more about them, please visit the Global Giving Website.
The UK Gateway Challenge is an international fundraising event for 5 weeks where participants must raise £2000 (about $3000) and must get support from 50 unique donations. If we make that, we are secured a permanent spot on Global Giving UK's website to raise funds for future projects. So it’s really important to our longer-term sustainability! In addition, we are competing for extra funding prizes during the challenge period.
This fundraising challenge won't happen without YOU - WE NEED YOUR HELP! You can help out by spreading the word about this to your friends and neighbours. Here are some ways that you could help:
