Canada Ratifies ICSID Convention
On November 1, 2013, Canada deposited its Instrument of Ratification of the ICSID Convention with the World Bank. The ICSID Convention will enter into force for Canada on December 1, 2013, in accordance with Article 68(2) of the ICSID Convention. More information is available here. 
 
30th AAA/ICC/ICSID Joint Colloquium on International Arbitration
Since 1983, the ICC International Court of Arbitration, the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) have co-sponsored a series of joint colloquia to discuss various topics relating to international commercial arbitration. This year's 30th anniversary is hosted by the ICC in Paris on December 6^th, 2013 (details here).
