Fratello's
Greetings!

I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween! Kind of a nasty night out there for the Trick-or-Treaters, but I hope a good time was had by all. But as the wise man said (some wise man, trust me), one cannot live by candy alone (nuts, I know), so the question that remains after the sugar high subsides is simply this - where-oh-where should I eat this weekend. I mean, you have to eat, non? Well, we're hoping that you might consider heading over to Fratello's for some tasty food and wine. We will be featuring Black Grouper, Swordfish and Boneless Beef Short Ribs, as well as the Fratello favorites you know and love (hopefully). I heard a rumor that there might be a special appetizer as well. We'd like to see ya'!

On our wine board I have added the Nero D'Avola from Sicily that I mentioned last week, and for the price point it is a very good wine. Excellent fruit, medium body, good structure, just a very good wine. I have heard some good news about the supply of the excellent Pinot Noir from Expressions 44 from Oregon, so our supply might not be all that limited. Expressions is a very tasty wine and gives one a good idea how well they make Pinot Noir in Oregon. The other beverage news is that in keeping with the times, given that Christmas is just around the corner (yeah, right!), we hope to receive our first batch of the ever so popular Great Lakes Christmas Ale tomorrow, and we plan to tap it for tomorrow evening. Come toast Halloween with us, or Thanksgiving, or Christmas, or whatever (we're not picky).

The other news is that I am starting to prepare for New Year's Eve, believe it or not. As always we will have three seatings, at 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30, and we take reservations for any size party (within reason), serving our regular menu. Call - do not email - for a reservation.

Thanks for your continued support, it is very much appreciated. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Ciao
