Church Ministry News

Over the last couple months, I have been teaching the adult Sunday school where we have been studying about making biblical decisions. The Bible contains all that we need either in precepts (the direct commands) or in principles that can be applied to everyday life. The Bible also contains stories of people that made right and wrong decisions from which we can learn. The class has asked good questions and have been participating well in the discussions. 

School Ministry News

Christian schools need good Christian teachers. To help meet this need here in Peru, I attended the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools teacher convention. I was able to talk to several people about the possibility of teaching in Peru. As these teachers are already teaching this school year, we are praying that the seeds that were planted will bring forth fruit of qualified teachers in the future. While on this trip, I was able to meet the director of International Association of Christian Colleges and Schools and we talked about the possibility of creating a branch in Peru to help the Christian schools and to help in the creation of a Christian university. Please pray for wisdom and God's timing in these endeavors. By the way, please let me know if you know of teachers (especially preschool or elementary) that would be interested in teaching in an English speaking school in Peru.

Other Ministry Opportunities

There are times when it is easier to get a taxi than to drive especially if going to the airport or to places where there is limited parking. Since most of these trips take about an hour, there is enough time to witness to the drivers. Most of them are very receptive. Please pray that God will use these conversations to bring them to Himself.

Family News

My parents have been in the States undergoing some medical treatments. They have recently returned to Peru to minister here in any way that they can. We enjoyed having them live with us for a couple of weeks before they returned to the other side of town where they have an apartment. Please pray that the Lord will use them and give them His strength.
