Well Met at Bioneers!

Welcome to the Watershed
You stopped by our booth, filled out a card, met us, played with the watershed model and asked questions. We are grateful for your interest and your participation in Bioneers. We send out a monthly newsletter of watershed related events. And there is a ton of useful information on our website.

Watershed Forum
Our first ever Watershed Forum will be held on Sunday Nov. 17, 2013 from 3:30 to 5:30 at the San Rafael Community Center Auditorium, 618 B Street in San Rafael. The purpose of the Forum is to bring together watershed groups, citizen advocates and anyone interested in stewardship of Marin County creeks and watersheds. We are very pleased that Mitch Avalon of the Contra Costa Watershed Forum is our special guest. We hope you will join us!

Watershed Tours
GWC offers tours of the headwaters, bay, and city portion of Gallinas Creek. Rachel Kamman, noted local hydrologist and other experts will be on hand to answer questions and provoke a new way of thinking about our creeks and waterways. Dates will be posted on the website as we confirm them.

Monthly Meetings
The GWC Board meets on the first Thursday of the month at the Community Room on the second floor of the Northgate Mall above the food court. Meetings are from 7 - 9 pm. All are invited and encouraged to attend. We discuss many matters of interest concerning our local area and creeks in general. The next meeting is Nov. 7, 2013
.
