Young Americans For Liberty Announces 500 Campus Chapters Nationwide

YAL expands to all 50 states and has members at 1,394 schools

Arlington, VA Young Americans for Liberty formed its 500th campus chapter this week, surpassing many national youth organizations on the Right and Left in membership and campus presence. YAL's Executive Director, Jeff Frazee, released the following statement:
Since our founding in 2008 as the continuation of Ron Paul's youth campaign, Young Americans for Liberty has experienced unprecedented growth.

Five years ago there was no cohesive network of conservative and libertarian college groups. Today, we're proud to announce the formation of YAL's 500th campus chapter creating a national network of 162,000 activists.

As a result, YAL has become the largest, most active, and fastest growing libertarian and conservative youth organization on America's college campuses.

Much like Barry Goldwater's presidential campaign inspired the growth of Young Americans for Freedom that led to the election of President Reagan, Ron Paul has inspired a new generation of activists ready to take center stage.

A
national poll conducted this past September found "about 40 percent of 18-to-32-year-olds view the word 'libertarian' favorably." This result speaks to the impact YAL is making and highlights the libertarian renaissance we are witnessing amongst America's youth.

YAL's mission is simple: to identify, educate, train, and mobilize young people committed to
winning on principle. And we're proud to announce our 500th campus chapter dedicated to this cause.
