Warm up with a Hot Stone massage this month.
The heat of the basalt volcanic stones will help to ease out tension in your muscles, soothe stiffness and calm pain. Heat is a great way to help you relax physically, mentally and emotionally. I use the stones as extensions of my hands and also alternate holistic massage strokes and pressure from the heated stones to vary the pressure and depth of your massage. If you have not tried Hot Stone massage then this is definitely the start of the season to try it out and if you quote Winter Warmer when you book then you can receive a £5 discount this month. Contact me for more details or read more about it here http://bit.ly/16LkhQj

Signing up for a Winter race?
Many people sign up for a Winter race to keep them motivated during the winter months. I have been inspired to run The Trionium Bath Hilly Half this month, off road and yes, hilly. So now that I am amidst my training and feeling the hills, I can absolutely recommend a warming blend of
125ml of Sweet Almond with 25ml of Evening Primrose oil 10 drops of Black Pepper, 25 of Lemongrass, 30 of Marjoram and 25 of Lavender. You can gently warm the oil before you massage this in to aching muscles. This is a great blend pre and post training (check for nut allergies).
