Time Flies!
I hope this newsletter finds you well and reveling in the outrageous love God pours out on us every day. I held off the October email, thinking I'd have a Sanction update just any day, and lo and behold, it's November. I do have a little news about Sanction, some on Resolute, new stuff and some AWESOME guests coming up.

Sanction Update
Based on the latest word I have, I think we can expect Sanction to be ready Thanksgiving-ish. The first 12 chapters are available at the Sanction site. We also have a terrific trailer almost ready to unveil. Stay tuned.

Resolute Editing
This round of edits for Resolute is more like a rewrite. Lots of work, but I love writing Doug and Cass, and this is a beautiful story in spite of the difficult subject matter.

NaNoWriMo

Yup, I've signed up for this year's National Novel Writing Month. The challenge is to write 50K words in 30 days (or 1667 words per day.) I did it in 2011 and produced Sanction. This year I'm going to be drafting a story about Phil and Donna's younger son, Michael. It will deal with divorce, the pressures of being a preacher's son, and the courage it takes to start over. So if we add this one to the book already drafted about Donna and Phil and then we craft one about their older son, David, we have the makings of another 3 book series. What do you think?

AWESOME Guests
Some of my favorite writer friends are stopping the blog by this month - Medical thriller author Jordyn Redwood will be visiting. Her latest Bloodlines story, Peril, just released. Mark Young has a great new thriller, Broken Allegiance featuring Tom Kagan, releasing in November as well.

In other news
My office is shaping up. New windows are in, first coat of purple paint on the walls, new carpet ready for installation... I'm looking forward to moving back in. I'll have pictures eventually.

Thank you for leaving reviews and recommending books to your friends. Thank you for commenting on blog posts or Facebook posts or replying to tweets. Thank you for your emails. I save them all.

"I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now" Philippians 1:3-5
