October 18, 2013: DRGR Release 7.7 which had been postponed due to the government shutdown is scheduled to go into production in the evening of October 18, 2013.
This release will include new functions for reporting Program Income and Affordability Periods for addresses under closed grants in the NSP programs. It will also include new data upload functions for setting up vouchers and creating QPR activity profiles.
Grantees will be able to share these templates with the organizations they fund and hopefully reduce the need to manually re-enter data. Facts sheets for new functions are posted on the What’s New section of the HUD.gov DRGR info page.
Users please note: As part of this release, Microstrategy report folders are being consolidated and will move from the project folder titled OLTP to OLAP and will be based on a nightly update instead of live data.
The name and location of Standard reports should be unaffected by this change, but all customized reports users have already saved in My Reports folders and all prior subscriptions cannot be moved. Users that have anything in My Reports will need to rebuild these report layouts in the new OLAP folder. One suggestion to ease the transition is to print out the layout of each customized report. Another is to export the customized reports to PDF versions for reference purposes when rebuilding the reports post-migration.
