Nurses at Virginia Hospital To Conduct Informational Picket on Friday

WHAT       Nurses represented by the Minnesota Nurses Association at Essentia Health - Virginia will conduct an informational picket as a show of solidarity as contract talks continue between MNA and Essentia Health - Virginia.  

WHO        MNA bedside nurses at Essentia Health - Virginia
 
WHY         As contract bargaining sessions between MNA nurses and Essentia management continue, nurses are concerned the Duluth-based corporation may be attempting to abandon promises made to the community.  The nurse group is united in its dedication to achieve a fair contract that protects patients and retains the level of nursing care the community expects in Virginia.
 
WHEN      The action will take place on Friday, Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on public sidewalks surrounding the facility
