November Speaks

Chair's Message

ASNT-GLAS November 12 Meeting!

"Come one, come all! It's the second Tuesday-of-the-month after all!"

6pm Social Hour
7pm Dinner ($25 regular, $15 students)
8pm Talk: Votaw Precision Technologies & The Space Program, Scott Wallace, President, Votaw Precision Technologies

See you Tuesday at Maggie's! (Maggie's Pub & Restaurant: 11900 Telegraph Rd., Santa Fe Springs, CA)

And don't forget! Our family-friendly Holiday Party, "The Magic of the Season: Goodwill to All" is Saturday, December 14, from 5-9pm at the Embassy Suites, Downey!

Santa Claus is "comin' to town" and joining us from 5-6pm for pictures and our first annual ASNT-GLAS Toy Drive collection! Joining it up with our new Military Initiative, we're partnering with the Marines and their beloved Toys for Tots program, so please bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate and receive a free 50/50 ticket per toy!

We have also booked a magician to literally help spread the magic of the season for an hour floor show after a delicious dinner!

And kids under 12 are free! (And they'll be receiving a small gift thanks to ASNT-GLAS Board elf Cheryl Dufur of Test Equipment Distributors!)

Regular tickets are only $45 and only $35 for current Bosco ASNT night students!

You can buy your Holiday Party tickets at next week's meeting or contact Event Chair Duane Schultz, dwsconsulting90061@gmail.com, (626) 372-6514, 4643 N. Castleview Ave., Covina, 91724 to order tickets and/or become an individual or company Sponsor! Tables can also be reserved! (Make checks payable to ASNT-GLAS)

Since we're selling the regular tickets below cost and making kids under 12 free, we're hoping Sponsors will be generous.

ASNT-GLAS is proud to be a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
