Hello jazz fans!
It's been a while since our last newsletter so there are a few things I've been wanting to tell you folks about...
Firstly, it's crazy BUT the holiday season is fast approaching so if you want to come into manhattans for some festivities please book now as to not be disappointed. Keep an eye on the music line-up/schedule as we have a great selection of music over the next couple of months including a few festive nights in the works! And speaking of Christmas, this year we will be open on Christmas Day 12-3pm for drinks only and a social - so please join us! Note: Sat. Dec. 7th has been booked and is SOLD OUT.
As always, this time of year I ask you to take a look at The Guelph Lecture - On Being Canadian (THIS FRIDAY!). I've been a supporter of the Lecture since it's inception 11 years ago! It's a great night of intellect, culture, music and community. You can find more info and a link to buy tickets below.
Beginning Friday evening we will be serving up my all-time favourite pizza (and the reason this mailing list started) - THE INDONESIAN CHICKEN PIZZA! Yep-it's back! Spicy peanut sauce base, mozz, snow peas, fresh mangoes, and kecap manis marinated chicken! It will be available till next Friday or until quantities last.
We're always looking to accommodate those with allergies and/or intolerances to gluten and dairy so in addition to our gluten-free pizza, we now offer gluten-free buns for our lunch menu sandwiches as well as a gluten-free pasta!
In September, manhattans began advertising on JAZZ FM 91.1 ...tune in to hear us featured on their Music & Events three times daily!
We have new art on the walls - it's a fabulous show (see details below). And speaking of art, I'll be at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre this Saturday catering their Beyond the Frame Art Auction. Always a good time! I'm told there are still tickets available if you're interested.
Lastly, I experienced some health issues over the Spring/Summer and as a result had to take some time off. I am VERY happy to report that I'm in the clear now and wanted to thank everyone including my amazing staff for all their help, positive thoughts, and warm wishes.
Peace & Love,
Thomas
