Chairperson's Report by Ms Denele Crozier

It has been a very busy and productive year for WLS NSW. We developed a new strategic plan for the three years ahead, the overview of which is included in this year's annual report. We are continuing our commitment to supporting women most disadvantaged and advocating for changes to laws and practices that are  oppressive to women.

WLS NSW exists to provide a voice for women in NSW and to promote access to justice, through the provision of legal services, law reform and community legal education, particularly for women who are disadvantaged by their social and economic circumstances. The Foundation was established to support the work of WLS NSW in areas where we cannot rely on public funding.

A year after launching we are now fundraising in earnest using a 'Give Now' account to manage online donations.

We urge you to support our work either through a regular monthly donation or a one-off gift.

Visit the WLS NSW Give Now page for more information.
Brain Food

Looking for some food for thought? How to be a Woman by Caitlin Moran is a wonderful companion for the summer holidays.

This laugh out-loud book is part memoir part political polemic and Moran's views offer a fresh take on modern feminism.
Seasons Greetings from the Foundation

It's been a great first year for the Foundation and we sincerely thank you for your generosity and on-going support.

Foundation members were invited to three successful networking events this year and we hope to increase that number to four in 2014. These gatherings provide us with a great opportunity to update you on Foundation projects and priorities within a relaxing and informal environment and we look forward to seeing you at an event next year.

On behalf of the Foundation we wish you and your family a very happy and peaceful holiday season and we look forward to working with you in 2014.
