Darren and his team head to Turkey from Nov 2-8 to film more of Holy Ghost. Please pray for protection, as they will be filming in some environments that are hostile to Christianity.

Please pray for doors to continue to open up for our films, and especially Father of Lights, to make serious headway into more mainstream markets. We truly believe every Christian needs to see these films, and the more exposure and success they have, the more likely that is to happen!

As always, lift up Darren, his crew, and everyone at Wanderlust and their families. We are advancing God’s kingdom forcefully throughout the world, and the enemy is not exactly thrilled with this. Pray for protection and favor over all we do!

In this section, we want to provide you with some interesting tidbits from our films, as well as updates on the people we’ve filmed (as we receive those updates, of course).

Here is an update on Sam, who was the Latin King gang leader who got saved in Father of Lights. As we mentioned earlier, he has since been put in prison (for past offenses) but is doing well and continues to pursue God while behind bars. We recently learned from Robby Dawkins that both of his daughters (the one who was the “dancerâ€, as well as the one who said “Sam was dead to herâ€) have both accepted Christ and are attending church. They have all reconciled with their father while in prison. Praise God for that!

In 7 years, Darren has never lost one day of filming on account of rain. Recently, while filming in Europe, there were many days where rain was in the forecast, and the guys would have lost precious opportunities to film on the streets. Darren’s favorite response to his crew’s concerns is that “he knows the weathermanâ€, and sure enough, the rain never impeded on their filming. The ONLY time it did, as you will see in Holy Ghost, was for a very specific reason…

Darren has a number of books in the works, including a sequel to Finding God in the Bible, and his first fiction novel as well. The story was given to him in a dream a couple of years ago—it was simply a handful of random scenes from one story. When he woke up, he knew exactly how they all fit together. It is a story including time travel, heaven, and hell, and one heck of a twist at the end!

If you were unable to pledge to our Holy Ghost Kickstarter campaign earlier this year, you have since been unable to access any of our behind-the-scenes content that we have been creating while on the road filming the movie. So now, for once, we want to show you what you’ve been missing, and give you a little taste of what it’s been like filming these new movies.
