"Art has the power to heal"

Dear Friends:
November is Global Art and Healing Month! In celebration of this, I will be joyously participating in the Bridge to the Soul, The Art of Healing exhibition and subsequent activities throughout the next 4 months. Here is my response to the question "Why is art healing?"
The transition into our holiday season filled with gift-giving, get togethers, fun times and folly is upon us and as we ease into it all, I look forward to being with you and sharing with you in person, and/or in Spirit! Looking ahead to 2014 I will be sharing my new art series within the new collection of The Elements, my creativity workshops and a few other wonderous LEFA goodies to be unveiled!
Recently, a friend of mine signed off on an email with these fine words, and I am inspired to share them with you!~

In my creative process, I often get really into the painting foregoing my brushes and
allowing Spirit to move through my hands unfettered.

The painting process that I use is a series of many layers of color, light and glazing.
This creates a portal inwoven with frequencies of light and vibrations of sound.
