Svadba-Wedding, Opera Philadelphia

Marie-Josée just returned from Philadelphia, where she restaged the production of Svadba-Wedding (originally directed by Michael Cavanagh), an opera by Ana Sokolović presented by Opera Philadelphia for their new series Opera in the City. Originally created by Queen of Puddings Music Theatre in Toronto, a company for which Marie-Josée has been associated for 13 years, Svadba received its American premiere to four sold-out performances with oustanding reviews.
