Join in the conversation

Our partnership with Brock University is extended to include a discussion about how we celebrate.

We use celebrations to mark meaningful events, and sometimes to create an event that gives us a focus larger than our daily routines. From personal rituals, family dinners, birthdays, and graduations to national holidays and religious celebrations; rituals are performed across cultures and across time.

This cafe will look at the different ways that you incorporate celebrations into your life, the celebrations that have most meaning for you, and question whether we celebrate enough both personally and as a community.

The Brock Conversation starts at 7 p.m. on December 5th and is part of @ the Museum Thursday Night and is free as usual.

How does culture impact your daily life?

The City of Niagara Falls is developing its' Cultural Plan and want you to be part of the discussion.  Culture is all around us, it’s what we create, what we listen to, what we see, what we eat and so much more.

Use your voice to let us know what you think.  One lucky survey participant will win an iPad 4 courtesy of Beatties Basics.  Check out the Culture Plan Survey and let us know!
