To spark some ideas about Social Media, and inspire you to come to the seminar on March 5, have a look at these blogs.

Social Media is not just the realm of marketing - Amanda Sterling

Social Media

There is an increasing array of social media being used for business now and for many people it is a very steep learning curve.
I have been on twitter for a couple of years now, initially with a marketing focus, and I have come to realise that it is a medium like no other. As more people are becoming comfortable with the tools, they are trying things out, exploring new concepts and entering into uncharted territory. It is exciting for me to watch it develop.
The scope for social media in organisations is immense. We are working with Amanda Sterling from NZLead.com to deliver her Introduction to Social Media in New Plymouth on March 5. This course will be different from marketing related courses, although you will see how the tools can be utilised. From an HR perspective, there are opportunities to utilise Social Media effectively to develop and engage your people. This is an area  that interests me and I am really keen to see what Amanda has to tell us.
I hope you will come on that journey with us too.

Vision, Purpose, People

In collaboration with fellow coaches, Greg Kirk and Ally McCullagh, we have developed a short seminar to demonstrate the power of having a clear vision and purpose, then ensuring that your culture and people are developed to fully embrace and implement that vision and purpose.
This is the second seminar we have run together and our goal is to inspire you to put  things in place and also to consider the role a coach could play in your business. Although we all compete with each other, we each have different skills, strengths and personalities. It is important that you pick a coach you are comfortable working with and who fits what your organisation needs right now.
We would love to have you at the seminar. Click on the link above, which will take you to a Facebook page to register, or get in touch to find out more

Customer Service

I have had the KiwiHost franchise for 9 years now. The three courses we schedule regularly are well tested and do work. There are other courses which can be run in-house as required. To see the full range have a look here
No matter what industry you are in, your staff will be interacting with customers. The skills we teach are an essential part of developing good service.
Never is the saying "What if I train them and they leave" - "What if you don't and they stay" more true than in customer service. A well intentioned but unskilled front-line person can lose you business very quickly.
Quality Systems

Do you have good intentions about getting your processes ans systems sorted- but don't know where to start?
The programme we are offering next week is a great place to start and will help you take the first steps. Register on Friday to secure a place.

Food Safety

We are very fortunate to have Tessa Clarke working as an associate of Implement. Tessa is an Environmental Health Officer, currently contracted to Stratford District Council. She has been working with local food businesses for the past few years to develop good food safety systems and to train staff. Her half day training programme is scheduled approximately 6 weekly and she can deliver in-service training to your teams if that is more convenient or if you have a lot of staff to train or remind.

We no longer offer unit standards 167/168 with this training. Participants will receive the same level of training and will receive a certificate of attendance. By doing this we can keep the cost and time commitment to a minimum and your team still gets a high level of training.
