FIELD TRIP FOR LA LAGUNA
Earlier this month, thanks to generous donors, we were able to take 85 children from the village of La Laguna to the Macaw Mountain Bird Park. Many of the kids got to see their national bird, the Scarlet Macaw, for the very first time in person! Everyone had a great time... and to top it all off, we celebrated with cake! Thanks so much to supporters of Project Ascend, Honduras, for helping to provide this experience for children who otherwise would never have been able to have it!

SUNDAY LUNCH PROGRAM
In conjunction with Manos de Jesus Church and Pastor Marel Vega, Buenos Vecinos helps support a weekly lunch program for over 100 kids in the poorest barrios of Copan Ruinas. Every Sunday, kids gather for a home-cooked lunch at the church and a fun time with friends.

SWEET POTATO AND SQUASH DELIVERY
A generous donation of surplus sweet potatoes and squash from a local farm allowed us to deliver these nutrient-packed foods to lots of families in poor barrios and nearby villages!

SCHOOL AT UNION CEDRAL COMPLETED!
Congratulations to Greeley Rotary and SSKIDS for the completion of the school at Union Cedral, which was recently inaugurated!! Thanks so much for your generosity and hard work!

EARLY CHRISTMAS FOR AMATES &
BUENA VISTA
Along with our friends from Amigos of Honduras, we were able to provide an early Christmas for families in the villages of Amates and Buena Vista. Amigos brought along donations of food, toys, blankets, ball caps, and other goodies to help spread holiday cheer!
